Jess has a huge amount of experience working with animals. She gained a Zoology degree at the University of Salford in 2013, during which time she worked voluntarily at Lower Moss Wood Nature Reserve and Wildlife Hospital. She gained full time employment at Leigh Cats and Dogs Home during which time she gained experience in handling nervous or aggressive dogs, advising visitors on topics such as nutrition, behaviour and most importantly, the most suitable dog for their lifestyle.
Jess' eagerness to add to her already impressive skillset lead to a full time position at Dial a Dog Wash Manchester. She qualified as a groomer through the Dial a Dog Wash Academy and, since starting with us, has become an indispensible and popular member of the team. Jess has her own fanbase and easily grooms around 400 dogs in the Manchester area throughout the year.
At the start of 2017, she was promoted to the position of Senior Groomer due to her passion and commitment for the past 3 years. As well as her daily dog grooming duties, she now assists Fran with training prospective new groomers and has also completed her qualification in microchipping.
Louise is our newest addition to the Dial a Dog Wash Manchester team.
Louise absolutely loves dogs and has worked with them professionally since 2012: first, as a self-employed dog walker and now, as a groomer for Dial a Dog Wash Manchester.
She has gained numerous certificates in dog training and behaviour from the ADTB and wishes to study more in the future. Louise hopes that by bringing her dog handling skills and keen eye for detail to her new position, she will thrive in the world of dog grooming!
